On November 7, 2025, Art Garfunkel Jr. releases the first single from his upcoming album “Advent”. With the duet “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)”, recorded together with his father Art Garfunkel, he presents a new interpretation of one of the most iconic peace songs in music history.

Originally written by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” conveys a timeless message of peace, compassion, and hope. In this new version, two generations come together vocally, united by the shared belief that the longing for peace is universal and more relevant than ever.

Through “Happy Xmas”, the connection between the two voices adds emotional depth while remaining faithful to the spirit of the original song. The interpretation highlights the enduring power of music to transcend generations and convey meaning beyond time.

The release of the single marks the beginning of the album “Advent”, which will be released on November 28, 2025. The album invites listeners to pause during a turbulent time and to experience the unifying power of music, with “Happy Xmas” serving as the first musical statement of this project.
