Art Garfunkel Jr. Advent is the 4th studio album and also the first Christmas album by the American singer. Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, Art Garfunkel Jr. Advent will be released on November 28, 2025, via TELAMO/BMG.
The album Advent features 14 festive classics and traditional songs, reimagined in Art Garfunkel Jr. Advent’s unique sound – sometimes minimal and intimate, sometimes modern and danceable. Three special duets with his father Art Garfunkel connect generations and follow up on the success of their Top-5 duet album Father and Son.
Previously, Art Garfunkel Jr. recorded a Christmas bonus track (“Stille Nacht”) for the expanded edition of his Top-10 debut album Wie Du. With Art Garfunkel Jr. Advent, he now presents his first full holiday album with English, German, and unique German-English hybrid versions – a distinctive feature of his artistry.
Minimalist arrangements, surprising Eighties touches, and three reinterpretations with his father complete Art Garfunkel Jr. Advent.

“Advent” means arrival – a time of anticipation, reflection, and contemplation. Art Garfunkel Jr. Advent celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ and delves deeply into holiday traditions. Vocals and stunning arrangements are at the forefront, supported by producer Felix Gauder (Pet Shop Boys, Jimmy Somerville, Andrea Berg, Maite Kelly), who highlights the emotional core of these centuries-old compositions.
Opening track “Auld Lang Syne” combines soft synthesizer landscapes with a gentle beat and the unique harmonies of father and son – a perfect symbol of Art Garfunkel Jr. Advent. Other highlights include:
